I've been thinking about this a lot recently. Lawyers and doctors require certain qualifications and I have difficulty accepting that artists don't; that the term 'artist' is used so loosely and freely to anyone who can hold a paint brush or draw a circle.

If I applied the same logic to medicine: is a mother a doctor just because she goes out an buys flu capsules for her son? Or is she a nurse just because she administers the capsules to her son? Of course not! She has no qualification to make any sort of claim to that title.

So what's the difference between an artist and someone who paints a picture?

I have found a card under my house. i think it is a yu gi oh game card it say's it is a 3 headed exodia ultra rare card it does say Yu GI OH it was in a wooden box carved with a poeam it go' FOR YEARS I HAVE BATTLED TILL THIY CARDS STRIPED AND BLEED A MESSAGE FROM A PHAROH WITH A CHAIN ON HIS HEAD. I have been seeing someone for a couple of weeks(not long I know). Recently I bumped into an old friend who I havn't seen for 10 yrs. Immediately all theose old feelings came rushing back, I couldn't help but find him attractive.A few days ago we shared a kiss, which has been playing on my mind 1. because it was so nice & 2. because of the guy I'm seeing. Anyway I have been flirting with the old friend and I suppose being a bit of a tease, but knowing that it was all a bad move and I'm not going to do that to the guy I'm seeing. I'm really sorry & I hope I havn't ruined my friendship! Do you think I have?
