Here's the problem. I don't get this at all.
Instructions: Express the function in the form
f(x)=(x-k)q(x)+r for the given value of k, and demonstrate that f(k)=r

Function: f(x)=x^3-x^2-14x+11
Value of k: -2

I know how to do synthetic division and come up with x^2-7x+3+(2/x+2) but I dont know what to do now.

Message: I can send any kind of message to you that I want, you fat ape. Who's going to stop me? You? What are you going to do, stand on the roof of my car and beat your chest like the other gorillas do? OOooh I'm SOOOOO scared *rolls my eyes*

There's nothing you can do to me, so get used to it. If you're going to post rude, snotty things on a public message board, I'm going to be rude and snotty right back. You shouldn't dish it out if you can't take it!

You say in your yahoo 360 that your life sucks right now. I'm glad. I hope your life just gets worse. Maybe if you were a little nicer to people, it wouldn't suck so much!

This was a real message. Mental?

These are all properties of science that can not be seen. There have been miraculous healings and unexplain rescues are these not enough proof? All are result of an unseen, intangeble power. All we see or meadure are the results of it.

Social, Mental/Intellectual, Phyiscal, Sexual, Spiritual, Emotional.
I'm writing a paper on the importance of ideals in a relationship and would like to see what others value highest and lowest. Don't cover up how you truly feel, if Phyiscal is most important to you than share that! If it's Spiritual, so be it! Don't hide from you... Thanks for your time. I appreciate your contributions to my paper.

OK, seriously. I know it's gross, but I think there is a dead animal in the wall and we're having a party tomorrow. It's not as overpowering as I remember it, and I'm suprised that there aren't a lot of flies like I remember happening when I was a kid. But it sure smells like a rat! Could something else cause that smell? My house is on a slab. It has an attic, and I saw droppings up there, but I didn't see or smell anything up there. I smell it near our front door, but only inside the house. Any ideas or suggestions?

Whatever you think about Jim Gilchrist, the man who founded The Minuteman Project, you've got to give him this: All signs indicate that his opposition to illegal immigration is an honestly held conviction.
That's one reason I'd listen to him speak. Here are two more: His convictions are shared by many Americans, and the organization he founded has transformed the immigration debate. A man like that can teach you something, whether you find his rhetoric as inspiring as the Sermon on the Mount or as wrongheaded as Hugo Chavez's speech to the United Nations.
Maybe what he teaches you is that illegal immigration really is a problem. Or maybe he teaches you to better understand Minutemen whose actions you vehemently oppose. Agree or disagree, he's an influential man and one who has thought a great deal about the immigration debate.

the rest could be read there, why cant they let him speak?or any other one talking for that matter?
