It's always general consensus that the American Pit Bull Terrier (not the American Stafforshire Terrier, Bull Terrier, or Staffordshire Bull Terrier) is the el numero uno fighting dog in the world. I've even seen people go so far as to claim that a 40 lb APBT could best a Rottweiler, Cane Corso, Presa Canario, Tosa, Fila, etc in a fight. However, common sense beckons, and I find it extremely hard to believe that a little 18", 40 lb APBT terrier could defeat, say, a 27", 120 lbs Presa Canario.
Here's your average APBT:

and here's your average Presa Canario:

I just don't see the 40 lb APBT taking out the 130 lb Presa Canario.
Opinions anyone?
Oh, this has nothing to do with dog fighting; it's just normal, male, human curiosity.
