I bought a phone from T-mobil, and now I want to use Sprint, after I bought the Sprint contact, can I just put the SMS card into my T-mobil phone and use it? will that work?

T-Mobile uses GSM network and Sprint Uses CDMA Network so you cannot interchange phones between these networks.

Cingular uses GSM and Verizon is CDMA.

So basically you can unlock t-mobile and cingular phones and interchange but not any others.

Yes You Can!!
You Need to UNLOCK the handset!(This can be done on the net, via obtaining a Free Code that you program in)

Or there are companies on the High Street that can provide this service(legally) for around $15 Dollars.
All you do then is Put the Sim card from your current handset into the new handset!

You may need to change certain service Numbers for Voice mail Number and Message sending center Number.
Easy enough to do through the settings menu.
