How much is too much?
It is normal to shed about 100 hairs a day.
If your hair is shedding in clumbs... then you should be worried and consult a doctor.
There are many factors to hair shedding.
It could be your diet, stress, hormones, allergy, etc.
You have to examine your lifestyle, if you had any changes that would lead to the shedding.

It is normal if the number of hairs you lost a day is around 100. But if it is more than that it could happened due to several reasons. It may be lack of nutrition. You can examine your diet and Analise this. If it is a nutritional problem add more iron and calcium intake and protein too. It is better to go to a doctor if you plan to take vitamins.

And then the other problem may occur this is wrong shampoos and conditioners. Use what most suitable to your hair and scalp. If you have dandruff it cause hair loss. First you have to cure dandruff. You can use Anti-dandruff shampoo and remember to clean everything you use like combs, bed line, pillow cases etc.

And this may cause due to hormonal imbalances. If you lost lots of hair this may be the reason. Go to a doctor and he will advice you to do the test and then can find the reason.

And drink lots of water. Be happy always. When you are stress your hair will not hold you and say good bye to you. So be relax, have a balance diet, drink lot of water, and finally still if you have the problem it is advisable to visit dermatologist.

Have a nice time.

First you must clarify how much too much is. You can shed up to 80-100 hairs a day. It seems like a lot, especially when you are washing your hair, but it's completely normal. If you shed more than that I would visit a dermatologist, it could be a problem with the hair follicles

There could be several causes to hair loss. Some of them are mentioned already.

You also need to make sure you are eating enough protein. You can loose hair from not eating enough of protein. My hair got really thin for awhile. That's one of the ways I know I am not getting enough protein.

They make special shampoos that help. My favorite that is extremely delicate to the scalp is nutriox. You can find it at sally's beauty salon and it's affordable too. You might be able to find it on the web.....not for sure.
