Have we become so polarized that we can no longer debate important issues without insulting each other? Has the right wing stooped to calling everyone aginst bush a terrorist and the left calling the right baby killers. Why can't we have an intelligent debate anymore?

what would you do if you discover that your friend supports those who talk against you?

recently i found out that my close friend was laughing and supporting those who believed that i am stupid.. he has started behaving as if he is great. he is ignoring him for no reason. he just wants to be with those 'new' group of people who are similar to his innate character- laughing at others., thinking he is great, those who consider they r cool and others are not.

i think the trouble started when i started calling those who waste time and not study are fools. we r in medical school and i beleive my friend dies not have the attitude to be a doctor. but the problem is, i am unable to cope with his new behavior as we were friends for almost 6 years and then this happened...

your suggestions are valuable for me to cope with this new situation where i am always thinking about that and unable to do anything else at all!

Before you rant and rave about this remember that the Iran president says that Israel should be wiped off the map one day and then say Oh we love Jews, and non jews, christians and non christians the next. And what's up with this continual BS from N Korea, setting off missiles and now setting off a nuke, just to get attention. It's just not right if you ask me, that when the world confronts N Korea and says that we don't like you setting off bombs and missiles in Asia, And they come back with we want 500,000 tons of rice. They have tried to cheat the system repeatedly by using fear and intimidation like Saddam used to just to get what they want. You can say all you want about the U.S. and other established countries having and testing nuclear weapons, yet putting sanctions on sadistic little gimpy countries for doing the same, and your argument won't hold because these so called super power countries don't rely on money couterfeiting and laundering and black mail to get what they want

I'm in Austin, TX and looking for a plastic surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty. Are there any associations that "matter" more than others? For example, a friend said to only consult with surgeons who are members of the ADA; but many of the plastic surgeons I've found online aren't, but there's many who are members of the "American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery" and others similar to that. Do these matter? Are some "credentials" better than others, if so, which do I pay attention to? Thanks!

Ok i want 2 no whether i have ocd or im just weird here are some 'weird' things i 'have' 2 do.
1.if i am pickin somethin teabag out of a jar, sweet out of a pacet if i pick the 'wrong' one i have to keep pickin till it feels right.
2.If i lift or move something i have to put it back on exactly the same spot and if i dont no were that is i keep moving it about untill it feels right.
3.I cannot sit on toilet seats,when i wash my hands i turn the tap of and quciky catch the dripps to wash the hand i just turnd the top of with.
4.I have to touch things or do things 3 times like if i swich o a light anbd touch it wrong i have to do it three times and if i do it wrong again i have 2 do it another three timez again(yes im going to blow myself up1 day)
5.Oh yea walking sumtmez if i walk one way i have to walk n reverse i cant like walk in a circle. there are a few more but i have no space lft so what is this ocd or weirdnes? lol it really annoys me but i have2 or i think bad things like

A friend told me it was quicker to drive from york to london,due to some weird scientific theory. It had something to do with the fact that york is further north, so driving south was easier and quicker due to less of a gravitational pull. Is there any truth to this?

For the song I haven't got a strong voice and can't sing high/low notes. I find it easier to do slower songs, something kind of recent.

For the music piece, something to play on the keyboard that's only a couple of minutes long but a kind of difficult piece that sounds good without any background stuff, just on one piano sound on the keyboard.

I met an amazing girl who I married a week ago. Ever since the proposal and the marriage, I have destroyed my mind with negative obsessive thoughts about her looks. It has left my mind like such a wrecked shell that I no longer think any girls are pretty. If I do not stop myself thinking like this then my marriage will be gone. I had surgery on my lower ribs 6.5 weeks ago, so now I have a 3.5 inch cut on both sides of my upper abdomen. I have read that Vitamin E will really heap to prevent scaring. So, I've been putting that on at night. During the day, I've been wearing Neosporin Scar Solution silicone strips. Some people have told me that the Curad Scar therapy works better though. And then of course there is Mederma, and Scar Fade solution. I feel confused as to what to do. Everybody is telling me different things, and I just want the best product for these cuts, and am trying to get as little scaring as possible. Does anybody have any experiences with any of these products, or suggestions for me? THANK YOU!

the engine is fine, car starts up perfectly, but i can't get the car out of park!!! i know that the brakes and rotors have been bad, but the transmission seems to be workin fine... its a pontiac grand am 97,,,, could it be a sensor??? i've never heard of anyone having this problem b4.... thanx!!!

I am having continual dreams about being pregnant or someone I know being pregnant. The most recent dream was about a friend I have known for five years. His girlfriend was pregnant but in real life this would be impossible because he is a very strong abstinance 'til marriage believer.
