You hit the nail on the head.
Destructive thoughts are an ailment everyone has--but can do nothing about.
It's an universal condition that no drug can alleviate. Drugs only make you forget about them for a while but after it passes, they're back.
The only thing that I know that elminates destructive thoughts is the Bible. Someone recommended speaking out appropriate Bible verses whenever destructive thoughts enter my mind and when I do, they go away. It works. For example, speak out to yourself "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who give me strength (Phil. 4:13)."

Ask yourself why did you ask this girl to marry you? Looks are not everything don't be so shallow. Remind yourself why you love this lady, and concentrate on her good points. We all have them even you. Do something she will appreciate today and see what joy it gives her and no doubt she will do something for you and then you will realise how lucky you are to be with the one you love. And remember you don't have to be a victim of negative thoughts, it is your choice!

you really need to see a doctor
maybe a psychologist
seeing a psychologist isnt as bad as it sounds
you really need to seek professional help before it starts to destroy you.
at first it starts to eat at you from the inside, without help, it will tear you apart.
for your sake, your wife's and for your family, please get help.
you are not alone. as this affects many.
please call your doctor and talk with him everything thats going on with you.
help is around the corner!
all you have to do is turn the corner, and that is the hardest part!
this happens more than you know
best of luck!

The problem is OCD (thanks to the previous answer cut and paste). The trick to fighting problems like these is attempt it in moderation. For instance, have intercourse in moderation. Having too much may not be good, but having none at all is worse. Try to work on your discipline, as well. Not just with this, but with other things as well. You'll be surprised how much it carries over.

God is your answer. The Lord is the answer to any problem in your life. First, pray every time you have these thoughts. Then visit the church of your preference. If you have faith and are honest about seeking help from God, I assure you everything in your life will be better. A marriage with out God is difficult. Accepting Jesus as my Savior change my whole life and it will change yours too. No better way to take care of your family, than with God's help.

i dont know why you are thinking that way. maybe you are afraid of losing her, or leaving her? I think only you can figure out whats wrong. In the meantime see a therapist to help you out. the sooner you get on this problem the faster you can save your marriage

Go to a "Happy Place" in your mind like in the movie Happy Gilmore! A Happy Place where a naked girl serves you beer, you're Grandma plays piano (with a tongue like Gene Simmons from Kiss), and a midget rides a pony!!! It'll be great... plus you'll be a better golfer for it. (If you like golf)

Try using a Mantra. A mantra is a word, or phrase that you can repeat over and over again to protect your mind from negative thoughts.....Use a positive mantra whenever you feel yourself starting to think negative thoughts.. A few good ones for you might be:
"My wife is beautiful"
"I love my beautiful wife"
repeat them over and over, and you will not dwell on any negativity........

When you use words like "destroying me" and "my marriage will be gone", we are not the people you need to be asking. We don't know you, where you are in life, who you are, your needs, wants, dreams. Go to God man. He has all the answers.
Good Luck.
