we can't even figure out the world and now our country school.
i am glad it was not students like 99 where most of the shooting or voilence was the students and now it is adults. and now they want the amish to pray for the idiots family. i know it is their way but why should they? back when i was a kid there was bullies but no voilence. i disagree with church belongs in schools because of the freedom of religion act but they should teach the ten commandments and the constutition/bill of right like they do in hs to kindagarden
now with all the predaters around the country we have a congressman emailing subjective to pagers. makes me sick. i was not going to vote for tom reynolds and his mistake i am not for sure.
now for the war on terrorism people must have forgetting our fight for freedom and liberty and JUSTICE for all. i work for the homeland security and it is apart of the arm forces. and now that people do not support the

I own a Mirro pressure canner, and have used it for 2-3 years. The pressure gauge is a weighted one and has worked fine. This year when canning I noticed that weight didn't "rock" the way it was supposed to when it reached the proper pressure (with the 10 lb. weight on it) so I'm not sure if it is reaching the proper pressure, even though It's been on the stove for a long time. As far as I can tell, the lid still locks well, the vent is clear and not plugged, and the safety plug is fine. I still get steam out of the vent, but without the "rocking"motion, I wonder if the canner is attaining the temperatures needed for cooking low acid foods. Is there a way to tell? I haven't been able to find any thermometers that would be able to tell me the internal temperature while the canner is heating.

I had a discussion with a friend of mine about the recent Foley scandal in the House of Representatives. She made the comment that you never hear of powerful women involved in sex scandals. A thought popped in my head...do powerful men exhibit their power by having more sex and do powerful women exhibit their power by denying sex?

I'm not trying to be sexist at all, in fact ther person I was talking to was a female and she agreed. I think it's a possibility and the more I think about it the more I think it's got some teeth. What do you think?

I am submitting an Amended tax return 1040-X for 2002 (I filed late so it's OK until Oct 15). I see now that in 2001 I failed to record on Schedule D some carry-forward short-term capital losses, and therefore did not offset my 2002 capital gains in the next year in that return.

Can I now enter those 2001 carry-forward losses on my amended 2002 form? (As the total carryover was around $7,000, this would have implications for my 2003 and 2004 returns as well, which I could now also amend.)

i think its kinda weird he hasnt talken to me all year and now suddenly he is ..humm and now when i walk by him he dont move away from me but b4 he would of now hes helping me with my homework but b4 he could care less he stomps on my feet when i tell him not to them he smiles..b4 he wouldnt smile he would just do it and say i cant tell him what to do....and one time we were out side all alone talking when he would of went inside ...well actually he did go inside after a while o-well my point is he wouldnt even talk to me when he found out i liked him and he really really hated me b4 i liked him well we hated eachother.....soo weird how hate can turn into love..lol what do u think does he like me? couse if he didnt iam sure he wouldnt talk to me couse i think that how guys show u they dont liek u by not talking to u

I briefly researched the topic on Wikipedia but was left with no real good answers. I can see high volumes causing this in the right lanes where cars are merging in, but in the speed lane there appears to be no good explanation. Also, a co-worker and I have noticed that traffic is best on days with OK weather but that are overcast. A bright sun seems to have a negative impact on flow.
