...and then make absolutely no attempt to teach them how to be respectful of the other people in the theater?

Where better to start teaching your children about appropriate behavior at the movies than in the movies you take them to when they are young?
Chuck E. Cheese is not a movie, where people might be trying to actually HEAR what's going on, not have their seats kicked and not have some kid running up and down the aisles. Of COURSE I don't expect a quiet dinner at Chuck E. Cheese - it's a place for kids to run and play and be loud. Kids need to learn there are places where that is not appropriate. Do I expect total quiet in a kid's movie? Of course not. I'm talking about using the opp. to TEACH your children how they should behave.

probably because the parents don't care. I saw some people bring their kids to see The Hills Have Eyes.
Just do what Arnold did in Kindergarden Cop when he was on the airplane. lol

I can kind of understand if it's a children's movie. If you go to see a cartoon at a theater, you need to understand that there are going to be children there. You wouldn't expect to go to a Chuck E Cheese and have a nice quiet dinner, why would you expect something different from a children's movie. I have 3 kids, if we go see a movie it's a good bet that at least one of them isn't going to be interested in it. It's not fair to the other 2 to get yanked out because one is misbehaving.

some parents raise there children anyway they want not realizeing how there gunna turn out as an older person. and personally its not rithg that people do that cuz if parents dont teach the children how are they supposed to know what to do then theyll trun out rude and disrespectful. but parents should do that

Because proper parenting is truly hard work, and some people are too lazy to make the attempt.

you're right..I was in the movies once and a kid behind me kept kicking my chair. I got mad and turned around to tell him to stop. Something needs to be done.
