if it's not an extreme environment, at the end of 7 days you would be at the limits of dehydration... so I'd say 5-7 days depending on the person/environment

well, i went on line to look this up since there is so much dispute.. and even the on line sources are in dispute.. some say 3-4 days and others say 8-10 days (without water) i specifically remember from biology classes in the past (and my IQ is pretty high, i don't forget these types of things) being taught 5-7 days was average.. but I'm sue that source is just as varied and disputable as the on line sources.

I think you can survive quite a long time without food. In fact I have heard of people going months with only drinking juice. I have also heard of people dying in three days because they were in the middle of the desert. I don't think you can last very long without water. It is far more important than food. I would say a week max, and if you are in a very hot climate I would say 3 days max. A lot of it really depends on your surrounding environment.

Huge variations in this equation. Many, many things to consider, but all things being equal, without food, maybe 2-3 weeks and without water, probably no more than 5-6 days. Women will outlive a man on average because of additional body fat. Nature's way to preserve the species.

about three weeks with no food. Incidentally, the record for someone going without food AND water was 18 days, in the case of a dutch guy who was put in a cell in a police station and then forgotten about for two and a half weeks. He was near death when they found him, but made a full recovery. He had not committed a crime, but was involved in a traffic accident.

You can go without food a lot longer then you can water. Look at the Holocaust victims and how they survived near starvation. We can go a long time without food. That is not the case with water. If you have no food at all (Our body also can get water from the food we eat.) and no water I do believe that 4 days is the longest we can go.

Can survive without water for 3 days then dehydration and its complications set in. Can survive up to 30 days (average about 3 weeks) without food and specific length of time depends on the individual's overall health and fat reserves.

You can't survive longer than 3 days without water. You can go much longer without food, depending on the size of your body, especially if you're overweight. There are anorectics who live unhealthily for years without food & are completely emaciated. But as far as water goes 3 days max.

With no food or water, about 3-4 days. Without at LEAST water, your organs stop functioning and shut down and that stops your heart.
