Does atheism have anything to do with rebellious nature of mankind?

Most people like Lenin, Trotsky, Bhagat Singh, Marx, Bakunin who carried out a SUCCESSFUL revolution in their countries were atheists. Why?

Are theists going to attack this question?

We have our own heroes, for example, legend has it that Tippu Sultan once killed a tiger with his bare hands, whereas Jim used rifles. It is not about killing tigers actually, but let the Govt. rename Corbett National Park after any Indian hero.

In the English colonies, the Enlightenment led to a separation of faith from science and “profoundly conditioned the relationship between church and state.” The Enlightenment was characterized by human reason and discovering the laws of nature. This idea of a Natural Law would mean no slavery, as well as religious toleration. Thomas Jefferson was a man of the Enlightenment and would later use these, as well as other philosophies, to create the structure for the American governm

Dallas and Houston are about 4 hours away, but Texas is mostly a whole lot of flat nothingness in between, maybe a few Czech bakeries and caverns. Plus, we only communicate via AIM so there's not alot of phone time. And when we do talk, we imagine ourselves in a sort of unrealistic "togetherness bubble" as I like to put it. I'm so confused.

We work together and when I met her, I was futily chasing after another girl. This girl at work was very open about her sexuality and everyone knew that she was into women (people still say it at work and I want to slap them upside the head!). We have now been dating for about 5 months now (a whole other story!) and I swear I think I am in love with her. She is the coolest, craziest, most down to earth (and really HOT!) woman I could have ever hoped to date. I know some of you might think I am BSing, but I am absolutely serious. I have never dated a girl who was a "lesbian" before and am just wondering if it's even possible? Could I really get this girl to fall for me, and I mean really fall for me? Has anyone been in a similar situation or know anyone who has? I am more afraid than usual b/c I worry maybe she is just trying out something "new" (she is very sexual) but when she looks at me, I have no doubts it is real. Am I just decieving myself?
