Honey I'm in a long distance relationship and everyday I wake up I ask myself if I can do it one more day and what the heck am I doing. You are four hours away, we are 13 hours away. The last time I saw him was in August. Everytime I want to break up with him and do you know what keeps me going? Him. He makes sure I fall inlove with him everytime we talk on the phone, he makes me believe that this relationship will work and the best part is that I know he will not cheat on me (he works in a remote area with no beautiful women, lol), he told me that no matter how far we are from each other...........
My point is you can do it, four hours is nothing, you can take a train and go there. Just have faith both in you and him. Besides you break it off now and you'll never know if the relationship might or could have worked. Give it a shot, it might be worth it.

Well....I was involved in a long distance relationship a few years back. I was in El Paso (Army) and she lived in San Diego, a 14hr drive.
I would go see her every 4 day week end that I had since I was in the military....did this for 9 months straight. Yet she would never come to see me. Now I'm not saying that this is the case in EVERY long distance relationship but......
A long distance relationship has many factors to include...how you met, your work, your school, transportation, "love"?
You should really sit down and write the pros and cons of it (your relationship), and determined if this is something you would really like to pursued. Ask his opinion about it too, be open and HONEST to each other, and if you honestly find a common denominator....then why not?
Good luck

Depending for how long do you have to stay long-distance. It can work short term, but long term it won't. People need real love, real touch, not just a typed word.
Depending on what makes you happy, though. If you are BOTH happy in a long-distance relationship, maybe this is how it will be forever, but then you might experience troubles actually getting together when your life changes and you can do so. It will be one painful disappointment then.

it could work if you both love each others. Just need a passion, truthfull, loyalty and think positive. It would help for the long-distance relationship. Make sure you frequently chat each other via phone or online and if possible get a webcam so that the chatting session will be more fun. Cheers~

it can work but you guys need plans to visit each other at least. and some phone time. and to move for the long-term. most people aren't willing to commit to a LTR for a long time.
