We work together and when I met her, I was futily chasing after another girl. This girl at work was very open about her sexuality and everyone knew that she was into women (people still say it at work and I want to slap them upside the head!). We have now been dating for about 5 months now (a whole other story!) and I swear I think I am in love with her. She is the coolest, craziest, most down to earth (and really HOT!) woman I could have ever hoped to date. I know some of you might think I am BSing, but I am absolutely serious. I have never dated a girl who was a "lesbian" before and am just wondering if it's even possible? Could I really get this girl to fall for me, and I mean really fall for me? Has anyone been in a similar situation or know anyone who has? I am more afraid than usual b/c I worry maybe she is just trying out something "new" (she is very sexual) but when she looks at me, I have no doubts it is real. Am I just decieving myself?

it is possible that she was just experimenting with her sexuality before... and has decided to be heterosexual now..or she may be bisexual and is sensible and loving enough to be faithful to one person at a time regardless of gender...whatever it is...enjoy every second of every day , never judge, never have expectations and never have any regrets...if it works it works..don't look for problems that are currently not there or you will push her away....HAVE FUN

In a way, yeah, because no matter what, she'll still be lusting over other women every now and then, and as long as your okay with that, you're fine. As long as you understand you're not the sex she usually prefers and might be second rate some day or she'll get tired of you. She might be holding on to that hope of a standard life. You never really know. If it's a very sexual relationship, than she just might be using you for something she can't kind find in women.

This sounds like the movie "Chasing Amy", if you have never seen it, maybe you should. It will tell you the end of this kind of a relationship, and it is heartbreaking for both. If you do not think she really is into women, then you might have a chance. Ellen D. and Ann Hecht broke up because Ann really fell for a guy, married him and had a child. It does happen, but not often.

My second husband kind of had a habit of dating lesbians. A few of them fell for him and even had sex with him but they all regretted it and went back to women soon after. He remained friends with a few and one was even his "best woman" for our wedding. I don't bear him any ill will but as soon as we broke up, I moved in with a woman. I think it's just too hard for a woman to break away from her primary orientation, even if she really cares about the guy. I hope things work better for you but lesbians like WOMEN and you really can't change that.

hi i used to be a lesbian sorta i had a girl for 4 years that i loved emensly i wasent a lesb as such just loved her and she happened to be a women well we broke up and now i am happily married with 2 kids 2 a man of course i wouldent have it any other way i will not be going back to women good luck if your a great persob i am sure she will just love you for you not your gender.

it is a strong possibility that you could be deceiving yourself. If her first choice is a woman then more than likely she will go back to one even if only for one night. My advice to you is take this relationship for what it is right now. Don't get sex confused with love. Remember sex is only as good as it last.
