the only explanation i can give is you lack interest in attending to classes.any how to rule out any physical illness ,consult a good neurologist for solving sleep disorders.

i'm not the best either (getting a dog helped - you have no choice and it amazes me how happy they always are to get up).

it's better if i don't eat late (after 6 or 7) and even that shouldn't be anything heavy.

i also get exercise clothes ready the night before and just put them on before i can think about it and go for at least a 20 min. walk. walking really wakes you up.

sometimes people who have your problems are not actually getting the right type of sleep. Talk to your Dr. Get a check up and mention a sleep test for sleep apnea. Millions suffer from this and are not treated. Best of luck to you

You need a routine. Coffee, clothes ready, cool shower. Not much help, that's pretty blah advise, but it's something lots of us struggle with without thinking too much about.

There may be underlying causes like Depression, Narcolepsy, Chronic fatigue syndrome, Anxiety disorders etc... A psychiatrist can diagnose it.
