Do you believe what you see is everything you get?

Example: I knew this guy that bought a Brand New Benz 2007, and he lived in an apartment in a poor part of town, with no furniture or anything in the apartment.

Do some people buy big homes, or cars for looks and have nothing else like food to eat or clothing? Anyone know anyone like this?

My girlfriend has ovarian cysts, and is at the dr. right now getting an ultrasound. The dr said she wants her to go to the hospital overnight for bloodwork. My girlfriend thinks this is ridiculous, her pain is going away, and she sees no need to waste the time nor the money when it is no longer causing her pain. She has been on birth control for a month now in an effort to shrink her cysts. All of a sudden today she had severe pain and nausea, called the dr, and they asked her to come in right away. I am not sure what kind of cysts these are, but the first order of treatment from the dr was to put her on birth control pills. Has anyone else been in this situation? should she go to the hospital overnight so they can do a series of blood tests? She thinks the dr. is overreacting by making her do that. She is not a hospital friendly person, and I dont know if I should force her to go or let her choose not to. I dont know if this is very dangerous or not.

has any one ever had their eyelashes tinted? b/c my natural hair color is like redish but i dye my hair black and my eyelashes are already long but the the tips of them are red so it makes them look short so has anyone ever had eyelash tinting (professionally) and if so how much did it cost and how long did it last?

and i dont like mascara b/c it always rubs off and makes me look like i have dark rings under my eyes

"if there is a problem with the sound of my electric guitar, would that usually be a pick up problem or an amp problem? I have never had the pick ups cleaned or anything other than the regular cleaning i do myself. I have noticed the sound has changed a little and the guitar does not sound quite as cool."

I had experienced depression two years ago, took Prozec for 6 months+. Recently, my insomia getting worse, can't sleep without taking sleeping tablet. Try lots of ways but non was helpful in long term. Taking up Yoga classes, the result depending on that day's work load. I am a full time mother with business to run, finance & household all contribute to my stress level. My biological clock has switch the night and day pattern. I need immediate attention ohterwise my depression will come back, in fact, probably it is back.

My son decided at seventeen he wanted to join the Army. I thought it was something for us to discuss but the following day after he brought it up he came home with a recruiter. I wanted him to give it more thought but he assured me this is what he wanted. I signed for him to enlist in the reserves. When he turned 18, he joined full time. After only a couple of months, he's now gone awol. I've tried to convince him to return. He refuses. At what point does a parent draw the line. He didn't come home alone. He came back with a woman and her two yr. old baby. And oh did I mention, he only recently married a girl he met. They were having trouble and he didn't bother taking care of that before he got himself in a mess with this other girl. He's ninteen and already has a wife, a mistress, and a baby, it might be funny if it wasn't so sad. As a mother I want to do what's best for him. He cussed me and left. I only want him to do the right thing. What is a mother to do? Help!
