You can get married as soon as your divorce is finalized. Call up the divorce lawyer that represented you and ask him if the divorce was finalized. If yes, then you can remarry instantly. If not, ask him around when does he think it will be, and then call him on that day to make sure it's on record.

your court order will give you the date when it is final, and that is the date when you can remarry in any state. So all you have to do is look at your divorce order and check for the date of when the divorce is final. That date is valid in all 50 states with no exception.

In generall, as soon as Nebraska law states the divorce is final, you can get married in any state. If you have in your possesion a paper stating the divorce has been finalized, or is offical or something, then you can get married. If you don't have that paper, you can't yet. When you get your liscense, they will want to see something offical saying the divorce was finalized. You ought to have gotten it by now.

You have to check with the state you are in now. My father and his new wife got married one week after her divorce was final here in Florida. Some states require 6 months to a year. so check the laws where you live to find out.

After your divorce is very final, you at the instant are not any further married to every person, for this reason, you will get married lower back (as long as he's not already married). because of the entire faith & credit doctrine, NC will settle for a valid divorce in NE. no be counted in case you had criminal representation is irrelevant, as long as you have your certificates of divorce from NE, NC will honor it. solid success. :)
