speed = distance/ time
therefore time = distance divided by spped

distance = time x speed
So if you travel for 1 hour at 10 miles an hour, you go 10 miles.
You can turn the equation around by dividing the items on each side. So...
distance / time = speed
and
distance / speed = time
You need the last of those equations. So...
64 miles/20 mph = 3.2 hours (or 3 hours and 12 minutes)

Draw a triangle with a line through the middle - at the top place a T for time - underneath place a s for speed and a D for distance
you now have a formulea for working it out - eg
T = speed x distance
D = time divided by speed
get the general idea

velocity = distance divided by time
time = distance divided by velocity
distance = velocity multiplied by time
Keep the units the same. If your velocity is in miles per hour, put your distance in miles and your time in hours. You can change the time to seconds or days afterwards.
So your car takes 64/20 = 3.2 hours = 3 hours 12 minutes

Don't you divide the 64 miles by the 20Mph. Speed = Distance / Time. So the 64/20 = 3.2, so wouldn't it be 3.2 hours. I'm not 100% sure, but I remembered always doing this, make sure with some one else as well, but I'm thinking thats the way to do it, I'm pretty sure, but remember make sure! Holla Peace ~1~

1) 16 mins is 16/60 of an hour, so she drove 16/60 hour x 64 mi/hr = 17.1 miles 2) 64 mi/h = 64 mi/h(5280ft/mi)(1/3.28 m/ft)(1 mi/3600s) = 28.6m/s 3) 16 mins = 960 s, so dist = 960s x 28.6m/s=27,473 m
