I have been feeding my four fishes tetracolor flakes for three-four years when i got them. I finally ran out of fish food so I got the tetrafin fish flakes, i thought they were the same thing so when I tried to feed the fishes they would get the food but then spit the food out. Only the gold fish ate the food. How do I make the other fishes eat it?

I dumped my ex because he stopped paying attention to me and started giving all his attention to another girl. He reassured me that they were just friends, but I couldn't take it any more. He didn't want to break up with me & he asked if we can still be friends. I agreed because we were together for 4 years & have done a lot of things together. So, the whole friendship thing between him & me was going pretty good. I noticed small changes in him that I thought were an influence of this other girl. Now, he just told me over the weekend that he's really hitting it off with the other girl & they'll probably start a relationship. I'm so pissed at him! I knew it all along & he kept saying "no it's not like that, I'm just friends with her". And I'm also upset that he can pick up and move on so easily. My heart is still broken and I know it'll be a while before I meet someone new. He's still persistent that we stay friends. But is that even possible?

I've asked this before but at a different time of the day so I am expecting different posters...

I was in my early 30's when I walked into light of atheism, prior to that I was a lutheran.

As a father, I have taken a "laid-back" attitude toward religion to allow my children to come to their own conclusions. However, my moral base and my sense of right and wrong initially came from my early exposure to christian teachings.

I am curious what "life-long" atheists have used as the basis for their morals.

I'm sure that I'll have some christians will also answer this question. I would be curious about your positions as well, just don't be a wise guy and say something pithy like "Atheists have morals??"
