They ended up in a tie. I thought there was supposed to have a one game playoff. Sometimes when there is a tie, the team with the better record gets the title. The Padres have the worse record of all the teams in the playoff. Why aren't they the wild card?

I talked with women on some adult web-sites and my girlfriend caught me. Now she doesn't trust me to go anywhere by myself. I feel a little crowded by her actions. I haven't been ony any of these sites in about 9 months but she still mistrusts me. My family has been so excited that I don't know how to tell them. I am drowning in my own grief at this point and I don't want to deal with their pity. I have a 99 Chevy Cavalier LS Sedan with a 2.2L engine. I replaced the starter and the alternator belt it worked for a day and then it wouldn't start again. It'll crank over but won't start. I checked the wires and they all are conected. I also replaced the spark plugs and then it started and worked for about a hour or so then it stopped working.

I have a 16 year with a 10 month old baby boy, she and baby still live at home with me. The father is somewhat around but does not pay for ANYTHING. Her and I get help with food stamps and WIC and the state is helping with paying for daycare so my daughter can work. She is IN LOVE with the father of her baby. I dont have a problem with that, my problem is how do I get them both to start paying for things. Yes, I have tryed almost everthing. The father is working but all I hear from him is he has car insurance or no gas or what every. With my daughter she gets her pay check and will by very little for the baby. She is a very good mother in taking care of her baby but seems to think that just cause I make more money then her I should just pay for everthing,. Tomorrow I am putting my house up for sale cause I am wanting to move into an apartment, I am tired of taking care of a house, not beacuse of my daughter, I told her that when I do her, baby an daddy need to find there own place.

My father is 75, and has very bad diabetes. He has been told by doctors that he cannot fast during Ramadan. His blood sugar is very difficult to control, even with his medication, so he has to eat a small meal every 3 or 4 hours during the day.

My father's wife is very angry about this. She says he absolutely must fast, and has threatened to fire his cook and his maid if they fix him food. (She does not live with him.)

My father is very upset and does not know what to do. My cousin, in an effort to help, asked an Imam to come and speak to my father at his last doctor's appointment, which was last week. The Imam listened carefully to the doctor, and then told my father it is not necessary for him to fast as it will make his health worse, and that he can simply feed a hungry person each day. My father is still unsure what to do. Could you please supply links to articles which discuss this? I want him to make an informed choice.

I am obese (not just some skinny girl trying to be skinnier. lol), and I drink alot of pop, and do not excersize on a regular basis. So taking all that into consideration do you think if I stopped drinking soda pop and start eating healthy, (plus cut my calories per day in half of what they usually are) and walking 3 miles everday, PLUS lifting weights, that I would be able to drop 20 pounds in two weeks?
I need to be able to fit into an old pair of pants, that is why I am asking.
If you dont think my plan will work how much do you think I will lose?
Or should I up my excersize in order to lose more, any suggestions are welcome. Thankyou
