You are talking about two different beliefs. Judaism, Christianity and Islam believe that there is Paradise and Hell. Other religions like Hinduism and Buddhism believe that our souls are reincarnated again.

We Muslims believe that if you and your loved ones go to Paradise, then you can meet them and stay with them. However if you go to Paradise and they don't then you won't remember them (God will make you not remember them) otherwise if you grieve over them what kind of Paradise it would be right? Therefore it is better if you call them to Right Path!

P.S We Muslims also believe that children who die in their childhood will go to Paradise 100%! Because they were innocent (we do not believe in Original Sin concept) and God does not punish those who are innocent.

I think you are "mixing" two things here.

In Christianity, with obedience to Christ, you can enter heaven, and if your loved one was also an obedient Christian, then yes you will meet him or her there. There is no reincarnation in Christianity. Heaven and hell is eternity.

In Buddhism, when you die, you are evaluated through your "karma" which is basically like merits. So if you do lots of good, you might get the chance to be reborned as a cow. If you do lots of evil, you might be a worm or something.
Unless you are like the Buddha, you will never attain Nirvana (the highest realm)

So, my suggestion is, trust Jesus Christ, be obedient in your ways with Him, and have an eternal salvation in Heaven :)

If you are Christian, there is only one death. Death has been conquered by our Lord Jesus Christ who paid the price of death by giving His life for us freely. Because of this, when we die we may be judge worthy to stand in the presence of God and His throne in Heaven. In the end we will be united with all those we have known on earth that have accepted God, praying that Jesus Christ has Mercy on us and the whole world.

There is no such thing as reincarnation.

Hebrews 9:27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, 28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

However there is good reason to believe that we will see our loved ones who have left this earth before us.

2 Samuel 12:19 But when David saw that his servants were whispering together, David understood that the child was dead. And David said to his servants, "Is the child dead?" They said, "He is dead." 20 Then David arose from the earth and washed and anointed himself and changed his clothes. And he went into the house of the LORD and worshiped. He then went to his own house. And when he asked, they set food before him, and he ate. 21 Then his servants said to him, "What is this thing that you have done? You fasted and wept for the child while he was alive; but when the child died, you arose and ate food." 22 He said, "While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept, for I said, 'Who knows whether the LORD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?' 23 But now he is dead. Why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he will not return to me."

I love that question.

Here is part of that answer:

Hebrews 9:26-28 (King James Version)

26For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

27And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

28So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

If you give yourself to Jesus Christ you will be saved and not have to deal with hell. On the other hand that passage states that reincarnation is false.

no, no, no. The SECOND that someone dies, IF they have Jesus Christ in their heart, then their spirit goes right to Heaven, to sit before and behold the face of Jesus.
That's that.

Reincarnation is what people believe, who do not want to believe in Christ and be told what is right from wrong, or be told HOW to live right.
Excuses, excuses.

Yes, our loved ones are in Heaven, and they weren't reincarnated to ANYthing .
Sometimes, I feel like a loved one is around me, guiding me, in a way, like in an important decision----not ALL the time. Just, you know, a 'feeling'.

I've been through more loss than any person should ever have to go through, and as much as I'd like to believe that I'll see the rest of my family again, I know that I won't. Simple logic and common sense will bring any rational person to this conclusion.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

This is because when we die we return to our original state....as spirits. That being said, yes, your spirit will be with the spirit of your loved ones once again. You will not be with them in the manner that you are but spiritually. You won't even long for the life and times that you had with them on Earth, you will be spending time praising your higher being, whoever that may be.

What happens to you after you die? Is it a family reunion on the other side or is there nothing.

Heaven is where God is and hell is where He is not. Earth is where man is. Where does man is. Where does man go after he dies?

God reveals, man observes. Death is something that we must face, hopefully not alone.

When we die, we are non existent. But God remembers us, in his due time he will use his son Christ Jesus to resurrect us back to life on a restored paradise earth where there will be no more wickedness, sickness, suffering, or death. You would be with your loved ones at this time if you are one who exercises faith in the ransom sacrifice of Christ Jesus and do the will of Jehovah God.
