Could someone help me with these problems, because I have a test coming up and these are the suggested problems. Thank you

1) An airplane lands and starts down the runway at a southwest velocity of 45 m/s. What constant acceleration allows it to come to a stop in 1.4 km

2) Two blocks are connected by a lightweight, flexible cord that passes over a frictionless pulley. If m1 is 3.4 kg and m2 is 9.1 kg, and block 2 is initially at rest 140 cm above the floor, how long does it take block 2 to reach the floor?

It's pretty pathedic I must say, I'm 15 and I've never had a boyfriend. now, I've gotten offers : ) but i guess you could say im um, "choosy" lol. I'm comfortable once I know a guy. but any farther than that and they all go retarded. they all think this whole player thing is the way to go, but seriously, it's making all those good boys, go bad, i can hardly stand to be friends with some anymore. I mean am i the only one? do any of you have the same problems because seriously, I'm getting pissed with how guys in general act these days.

i have 2 microwaves...they are plugged into the wall but not running, meaning their clocks are on, but the microwave isnt heating anything and shouldn't be drawing power. once, when i had one of them on and an electric grill on my fuse blew, so i switched the microwaves to a new circuit other than my kitchen. now all i did was flick a light switch and my fuse blew. and this was after the light was on the whole day....i had turned the light off for an hour, and then when i turned it back on the fuse blew. the only appliances on that circuit was a light, a clock and the 2 microwaves that wernt running. whats happening and why are my fuses blowing. oh, and my fuse box in my room isnt actually whats blowing. the fuse in the basement of the apartment building is blowing.
