Let me say that I do vote during election, and I will not complain about something if I have not cast my voice in the matter. Secondly, this country was founded by those who believed this country should not be baised on ANY one particular religious view point. Yes they were Christian (more corectly Christian Scientist), but they did not want those who would come into this country after they were long gone. Christains only constitute 78% of this contries religious make up not 99%, and I used to be Christian, but now I am a Pagan. Even when I was Christian I was a firm believer in the seperation of Church and State, and I still am.

This county's laws were founded on logic and reason, and the only parts of the Bible that were used to be a basis for laws were the first Five comandments.

I'm not a Christian, but I don't think Bush thinks that Christians are the only Americans. Of course he's going to side politically with Christian conservatives on certain issues, but he does not exclude other religions I think.

It is however the founding priciples and beliefs of this country was based upon. Bush is not the only one, democrats do the same, wonder why? Did you know that according to recent polls 99% of voters w/ 2% margin for error are Christians!!! If you are not, vote, let your voice be heard, without ridaculling others and just maybe the tables will turn!

Why do YOU think that 'this' country means the same for everybody reading this forum? My 'this country' is not your 'this country'...
Well, that's why Bush thinks Christianity is the only religion in the USA. Because it's HIS religion, and he cannot see ahead of that.
P.S.: I know this came out rather rude. That wasn't the intention. See? I'm smiling... And giving your question a thumbs-up... My point is that everybody thinks sometimes (or most people, at least) that theirs is the only reality.

I do not think I can agree with you. He was even calling all Christians affected by the 911 last time not to take the matters on their hands and not to do anything against the Muslims here.
It is the press that normally put the words into the mouth of the officials here.

I believe Bush follows His beliefs ..not man....I am a christian and I have seen him make decisions upon what He thought was right according to the Bible...and I for one am proud of Him for standing up and leading this country like a real man....not a butt kissing democrat.....I can say that because I was a democrat for years[changed my party in 2004} and Clinton and gore really showed me the way to go...flee the democratic party before more like them get in and kill our nation

That's how he goes because the largest group of people that actually vote in the US are far right Christian Conservatives. The most violent people in the world. You've only got yourself to blame if you are an American and you don't vote.

Most ppl play the hand they are dealt. Others such as Bush, play the cards they have up their sleeves. Christianity is a faith of followers, this is what Bush wants, followers. And he wants to lead.

His beliefs affect what he thinks is right, and so of course he's going to do what he thinks is right because of it. however, he goes out of his way, i think, to regard americans of all religions.
