I have been married this time for 4 1/2 years. i got married the second time when i was 40. If i was smart i would have discovered along time ago that what i want in a man i can not find in one man so when i get out of this one i am not getting married again. I like being single and not having to things for someone else and having to put up with pleasing someone. I would hope that there are alot of great mrriages out there but i have not found it yet.

We've been married for 1 yr 2 mo but we've been together for 18 years. Been toghter since I was 18, him 20 so I got married at 35.

Married- 06/05/04. We have been with each other 5 years- dated for 2 years, lived together for 1 year before the wedding. My husband was 37, and I was 31 at the time of the wedding.
This is a second marriage for me, first for him. I was 21 for my first marriage. Divorced by 23.

I was married and divorced twice before I was thirty. I figured I wasn't doing it right so I stopped doing it, I am now forty-eight. And I really don't care if I am married or not. Would like the companionship of a good partner, but I never, ever want to go through another divorce. It's quite painful, even when you clearly need to be away from the other. Peace and Good Luck.
