Ok I HAD the same problem as you did and absolutly nothing worked, no Pro Active, no Benzol etc. till I found the PATRICIA WEXLER SKIN CARE LINE and it will change your skin forever in a very positive way BUT if you're serious about it like you write you are you'll have to spend some money that stuff ain't cheap but it works WONDERS and that's a promise - If you don't want to go with the whole line (cost's about $ 200.-) then go and get the "Skin Brightening Daily Moisturizer SPF 30" what it will do for you: it repairs visible signs of aging; brightens and evens-out skin tone; improves the look of age spots and other discolorations and restores luminosity. Now this one costs $ 45.- but it's worth every penny - promise and you'll find it at the Bath & Body Works stores. Good luck!

After the pimple is gone and leaves a scar, you'll need a fade cream to get rid of it. And this takes a long time and requires you to be faithful to the regime.

Basically any cream with hydroquinone (sp) will do but you need to apply it for months and use SPF. Unfortunately, this is the only thing that works outside of laser or light therapy or any other expensive doctor service.

Some people don't get great results with hydroquinone (like me) so I use this: http://www.makeupartistschoice.com/whitecream.htm
But again, not a quick fix.

Go to www.makeupalley.com and look at all the product reviews. Great site where other people rate various beauty products.

SCAR GEL, the expensive ones will work VERY effectively, I have some experience in what your talking about, I just use a normal scar gel, cost me about $11 and my worries went away in just about 4 days or so, but make sure, your face is completely clean before you apply it, and put it on as soon as you're done messing with the pimple, works really good that way.

Yes there is it is prescribed though, so ask your dermatologist for "groots formula" #3.
Your local pharmacistmixes it for you and advises on safe application, preferably at night because u ought to avoid the sun.

There are over the counter things, but they take a verryy lloonnnggg time and don't work as well. I've used this for the past week and my skin is just about clear.

BTW I have the same skin problems...there's always hope

Don't listen to anybody who tells you that you can get rid of scarring with a product. Talk to your dermatologist, they can get you info on laser treatments and such. A good make-up like Bare Minerals, also works, if your scars are not too bad.

benzol peroxide. you can get benzoclin gel from your doctor. or, persagel by clean and clear. also, use a facewash with benzol peroxide. the only one i've found so far is made by clean and clear. just read the label. worked wonders for me.
