Lately, ive been researching stuff on the Phillipines, and Spain colonized them, etc. But, after looking things up on this site and other stuff, it looks like, filipinos arent anything alike to there asian neighbors. Is it true?

Ok so I have already worked these problems out but I'm just wondering what you guys get. Here are the problems:

Bill is in outer space on his way out of L.A. A force of 10 N pushes on Bill. Suddenly, when Bill has reached a speed of 250 mph, another 10 N force, directed opposite to the first force, also pushes on Bill. Now, with both forces acting on Bill, what happens to Bill's speed?

a) Bill will stop.
b) Bill will slow down.
c) Bill will speed up.
d) Bill will continue moving at a constant velocity.

Number 2:

Two blocks of masses 20 kg and 8 kg are connected together by a light string and rest on a frictionless level surface. Attached to the 8 kg mass is another light string which a person uses to pull both blocks horizontally. If the two-block system accelerates at 0.6 m/s^2, then what is the tension in the connecting string between the blocks?

a) 12 N
b) 6.0 N
c) 20 N
d) 4.0 N

My mom has had cancer for 10 years and I fear that she is now at the end. Her spirits are not what they use to be. I want to be there for her but am so saddened by her current state. I am not ready to let gon yet.

how can voting be made attractive for the youth? After swimming our gym teacher stands inside the door (between the girls shower area and the pool) and makes us rinse off with our suits off. She is a real b*tch about it. I really hate this because 1 we could shower with our suits ON and I don't think anything would be hurt. and 2 there is no one making the boys do this (it's a mixed gender class but the teacher is a woman and can't go in their locker room obviously). Is she in her rights to enforce this? It's a 9th grade class also, we aren't little kids.

I dated this sweet guy for a short time but then he ended it saying he was "busy". He was my first boyfriend, and my first kiss, all at age 20. I'm really picky but he seemed so great I gave him a chance. It was a beautiful and innocent relationhship (it never went past kissing). But after he ended it he would still say hi to me on msn, but he has stopped doing that. I finally decided to block and delete him on msn, and I'm trying to forget that I even met him for the sake of my own sanity. The problem is that I still have dreams about him. In some dreams I just see his face but in other dreams: I pinched his butt once, or saw him kissing another girl, or I saw him when I was vacationing with my friends. The relationship ended 8 months ago but I still see him in my dreams, WHY??? and how can I get the dreams to stop??? it's feels like he's dead and is now haunting me in my dreams & sometimes I feel as though maybe I never met him at all, like it was just a sweet dream, but it was real.

The answer in my textbooks says:

I don't how one would get that

If a miscarriage did occur & I didn't realize it, would THAT show up on a pap smear? Would it have anything to do with atypical cells, if there was inflammation?
