I am American and my partner is English. My boyfriend and I have been together for three years, living together for one. We currently live in London where I am staying and working on a 4 year work permit. My boyfriend works in IT and has a master's degree. We understand that the US does not allow defacto immigration. Is marriage the only way for my boyfriend to get a visa to live in the USA with me? Also, if we did get married in the UK, how long would we need to wait before moving to the US and would my boyfriend have free right to work when we arrived?

i am man 40 years old from italy , i have a daughter she is 15 and a son 9 years old i love them alot they are all my life specially after my wife death, few days ago my daughter went to journey with her school ,and i used her pc but i shocked very hard , i found lots of porn movies on her hard desk and lots of nude handsome muscular men and close ups pics of male sexual organs "penis"
please help what should i do? should i shout at her and insult her? or be calm with her or not speak at all or delete them from pc?

The story that came out a few weeks ago about Princeton researchers hacking Diebold's voting machine (even using a common key to someone's freezer or whatever it was to get in) and changing the results is frightening. When you look at instances from which exit polls didn't even come close to matching actual results, it's all been since Y2K when the irregularities began. In 2004, there were more irregularities in Ohio than any other state.

The thing is: I'm a Libertarian-wing Republican and I've supported the Republicans simply because they're "not as bad" as the socialists who fight against the 2nd amendment and favor entitlement programs. Bush hasn't exactly pleased me.

Now a handful of electronic voting machine manufacturers (or anyone with access to them) can control the results of an election. What can be done to do to save this country?
