It is basically a Play on Words.
A Data Base contains much Data and is full of Information. If we lose the Data, we will lose the Information.

here the answer:
data : is abstract inputs like letters , digits, names, etc.... and has no meaning.
information: is the data after processing and adjustment , and it is meaningful and useful.
example : in the calculator ; if you enter :

( this is your data )
then when you get the answer of 260 this is your information.
