Hyundai, Kia, Daewoo, Ssangyong, Tata, Mahindra.. these are relatively new brands to the car industry. And one thing they have in common is identity crisis. In order to quickly manufacture them, designers are driven to take 'inspiration' from other makers. Thus, their design will end up looking like bits and pieces of others all stuck together. It's just not easy to design a mass produced car these days without looking like someone else's. So to counter the identity problem, sadly the designers went down the ugly road.

Check out Ssangyong. http://www.smotor.com/ Look at their cars! Even the name sound ugly! Who in the right mind would like to set such an ugly car as their desktop wallpaper???

But Hyundai has a powerful weapon. Price! Low Price. These numbers could blind the customer to get their cars and not notice what a horrid they are driving.

Meanwhile, watch out for China Cars. Their pricing are even lower and... design... uglier too.

The reason why hyundai is "unattractive" is because they only been here but so long. hyundai is trying currently to get into the luxury field with the azera. but lexus and mercedes won't let them in! LOL but give hyundai a chance. In about 10 more years they will be up there.

Well see when we grow up a little, we view the beauty of a car differently than we might have at a younger age. With age comes wisdom.....Hmmmmm......This one is a real beauty and fast as hell. This one, however, looks good, great gas mileage, 100,000 mile power train warranty, ranked 3rd in top 10 auto's, and it wont cost me everything I have to purchase it. The latter being a Hyundai ofcourse.

Ugly?? hmmm seen the new Tibby's lately? looks part Ferrari part Lexus...and fast,,,I think its one of the nicer looking cars out there,, so much so that when I purchased a new car 3 months ago I narrowed it down to between an 04 eclipse, 06 eclipse and 06 Tib and the Tib won for looks, economy, and performance.

Ask yahoo about the lotus problem. As for the hyundais, imagin a triangle, with cheap on one side, quality on one, and speed on the last. If you want it fast and quality then it wont be cheap. if you want it cheap and fast it wont be quality. and if you want cheap and quality then you can't have it fast. thats just the way the world works. sorry they make them cheap and fast so they can't be prety or maintain well.
