When I was 15 I was sexually assualted by neighbor, shortly after my life took a turn for the worst, I took dads car for joyride, ran away, and ultimately spent the next 20 years in the "system" serving time, San Quentin being my last stop.I am 44 now and have done well since paroled in 1993. It was about 2 years ago that I blurted out to my wife what had happened to me, I was in shock and still am. I am very angry, angry at my folks, the neighbor, the system. I have always accepted responsibility for my wrong doing but this changes everything to me. I did what I did cause I was a victim not a bad person. I ran away cause I was scared and humiliated. I believe my life would have been different and I would have excelled far beyond where I am now. People that looked down upon me would not harbor the negative thinking if they had know what and why I became the thug I did. Can anybody help me resolve this very complex situation I am dealing with. I can't think straight anymore. Confused!

what's the difference between raggeaton, hyphy, rap, hip-hop music? When did it start? Why do people like to listen to it? I like too, but sometimes i just don't get what the meaning behind a song is except for cuss words and so i think they are worthless to listen to. what do you like to listen to? Last 7-10 days, my web surfing time is getting ever shorter due to running out of RAM. Problem? The Fix?

Once I've run out of RAM and my computer will no longer open any new windows or save URLs in my "Favorites," I have to reboot and will then get about another 30-40 minutes of surfing before having to reboot again. Have never experienced a similar problem, although I've been surfing for several years. My system = Sony "Digital Studio PC," w/: 2.20 GHz Pentium 4, 1 GB DDR, 800+ GB HD, Windows XT Home. I fully updated my virus/spyware/adware software (PC Tools "Spyware Doctor") databases and ran full system scans--no help.

How to say Jesus Christ or God in other languages?

Greatest rock bands?

We all know rock'n'roll has its roots in the US. However, when I look at the list of great *enduring* rock bands, so few, if any, of them are American. What I mean is, America has never produced a band equal to The Who, or Led Zepellin, or The Stones, or (not that I am a fan) Pink Floyd.

Yes, I know there is Aerosmith, but, their history, in truth, has always been one of come and go. Great for a year, 2 rocking songs, but then they disappear for another 6 until a soundtrack song is required.

Anyhow, my question is, why do you think this is? Is it because (and I am asking here, not 'declaring') British bands are better? Or is it that American bands have searched for something else?

PS Let's please keep the answers to BANDS. I know the British never had an Elvis or Janis Joplin, but my question is about bands.

How do people choke on their own tongues????

I hear when you have a seizure or convulsion or pass out or something to put the person face down or sitting down so they dont choke on their own tongue (I might have heard wrong), either way, people do choke on their tongues, how is this possible??? How does the tongue go back? What does it take to choke on your own tongue and does sleeping with your face towards the ceiling put you at any risk?
