Honestly, why do people think they can walk up to any parent with a baby and act like they've known the family for years? They start touching the baby's cheeks and talking to it like they're an old family friend. I'd be so mad if I had a baby and strangers started touching it...

There is this really large woman at my work, and when i see her she just offends me. She has never done anything wrong to me directly but she eats like a horse and uses the lifts to go up or down one flight of stairs, and i just get angry seeing her for some reason.

yesterday afternoon..I met my boyfriend for lunch at his work..which is about 30 minutes from our house. In the past I have usually gotten there about 11:55 or so..and he usually never got out there until 12:03 or so. Well, I got there about 12:00 and I noticed that there was a silver mustang just like his about 2 cars in front of me. Hmm...he was supposed to be at work, because he HARDLY ever leaves early. So, Im getting suspicious. We pull into the parking lot and I park my car, and get in his and ask him "Why arent you at work??!!" He said that he left a little early and was going to look for me to see if maybe he could catch me before I drove all the way down to his office. Well, I was kinda suspicious still, but I let it go. Well, last night something hit me..and I asked him, "How did you know that I was coming from that direction??" :) He said that it was just a lucky guess...What do ya'll think...you think he's up to no good with someone else..???

Democracy in real sense imply rule by majority. Suppose a majority of population is virtually illiterate and believe in a number of supersitions and evil social customs and a system full of sub-human evil practices. Would it not be compible with law to continue with the evil system supported by majority of the ill educated group as due regard to the preferences of the majority justify every damn thing.

Is it compatible with democracy to frame rules/laws in accordance with the justifications given by few right minded learned persons?

What is true democracy, an egalitarian system guided by few right spiritted persons or a discriminatory system guided by beastly instincts of the majority of the people?

I've been seeing a guy for about 2 1/2 months, we're not 'boyfriend/girlfriend' because we've both came out of serious relationships and are afraid to be hurt.. I don't really care either way on the titles.
Well he's a strange duck and honestly doesn't like to hang out with more than one person at a time, when he's with me he likes it to be just me, his best friend just his best friend ect.. (guess he likes quality time) so if i call and he's with his best friend he either will keep it very short and vague or he wont answer and he'll call me later - usually call me later. though he doesnt call if he gets home really late.
My problem with this is I've been cheated on a lot and it makes me feel nervous, or that he's avoiding me (which i know isn't true).
Is it too early to ask him to stop doing this with me? To answer then or just send me a text saying he's busy and will call later/tomorrow?

We're in our early 20's and i refuse to spy on him as someone else suggested.

i just wanted to say thanks for everything that you do. a lot of people don't realize the value of your blood, sweat and tears. with every passing day it gets harder, less people support bush, less people support the war. don't worry though, there are millions waiting for your return, regardless of the outcome.
