I don't know cuz being that skinny, just skin and bones don't make anyone look sexy in my book.
I mean being slim is good but it's different than being like a fuggin toothpick.
I have no idea why all these famous designers think seeing thru a girl's skin and being able to actually count their ribs is sexy, that, I will never understand. So I guess all those starving African teenage girls and boys that look like they are five are very sexy!!!

They look skinny because they ARE skinny. Unfortunately, our society equates beauty to thinness. Since the models are so successful, obviously people like skinny models. However, there is hope. I'm noticed the number of "full bodied" models is increasing.

Because for some reason America thinks, skinny is beautiful.
One second, skinny is beautiful, the next second everybody makes fun of Nicole Richie for being too skinny. Personally, being too skinny is unhealthy looking....but I'm not the one who puts the models on the runway, but if I did...it would be more "realistic" looking females and males.

Because models have to be 100-110 lbs and be over 5'9. They all have to fit in a size 0...its the look of models. There are some plus size models that I believe have to be heavier, like a size 8 but still have to be over the 5'9 height. Like Liv Tylers sister

They are skinny b/c that's what our culture likes, wether they admit it or not. They want the clothes to wear the model, not the model to wear the clothes. It is easier if everyone is a uniform size for the purpose of making the clothes. It is easier to make all the clothes a size 2 and require that all the midels are that size than to make different size clothes for everyone.

beacuse apperently it is "the look" n there is only one "look " and noone can change the "look". my cousin applyed to be a model but they wont take her on because she was too fat! n if you saw my cousin she is far from fat ! n i think its stupid that models are soooooo unbelievably thin because when a normal women trys the clothes on it doesnt look right. it doesnt make us have the "look" and we always have to try on bigger sizes just to make it fit ! the so called "look" is pathetic !! i think a regular women should model clothes not people like kate moss who is a stick thin nobody !

clothes look better on them... if models were curvy then all you would see was what a great body she had... but if they are super then you can actually see the clothes that they are modeling. which is the whole point

Well they have a really tough schedule and they never eat properly...carrot sticks and celery are their main food group.
