...Christians... they believe something simply because it gives them a good feeling inside to believe it. They think this feeling is some kind of spiritual experience, that "God" is trying to tell them something or filling them with the holy spirit. Having others who believe the same as them also comforts them. They don't believe in evolution and they try to disprove it with crap like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hws2VWWBG0Y

I wish they could see how ridiculous they are, but only a minority of them ever will.

GUYS: is it true love if he keeps calling after 1.5 years?

MY ex keeps calling me..its been a year and half since we broke up. WE havent had sex and i live 2 hours away from him but he keeps calling...why do you think this is? he says he cares and loves me but we are both living seperate lives and he has a new girlfriend!! if he has a new girl..why has he continued to call me after 1.5 years? and its not a booty call b/c i refuse to have sex w.him!. i still love him but don't know what to do b/c he has another girl at home (i live 2 hours away). its killing me to keep in touch with him b/c i miss him so much. he is emotionally shy....but he broke up with me...so i dont know how to act. should i tell him i need time to meet other guys and that he is holding me back? if so will he ever call me again?.this has been all i think about for the past 1.5 years.im so emotionally drained! i just really love him. will he ever call me again if I say I need time to heal and for myself?

Is bribery legal in cooperate world ?

Say I know someone is taking bribe in the company. And he is pretty high up in the ladder. Certain business decision was influenced later.

What did you all think of Chavez at the UN today?

I personally don't like a lot of the Bush administration's policies, but it's not right to disrespect the OFFICE of the presidency like that! If he thinks the UN is 'worthless' as he stated, why did he bother to show up?

can we learn to sing?

I really want to learn to sing. my partner says i have no singing ability but i dont completly agree! Not saying im a great singer or anything but i have decent pitch. Id love to take singing lessons but theyre so very expensive and i will need alot. Can you learn to sing or is it strictly a god given talent. Any tips or advise>?

How much rice to cook for 50 people?

I've never really cooked for more than 15-20 and usually that's like one dish. Now I need to do the whole thing for 50. The rice is a side dish so what quantity should I cook (preferrably in "cups" of dry rice.)

Do marines and cheating?

Do marines really think it is their God given right to cheat? I have heard this over and over that they feel they do not have to live by the moral standards of marrage. They feel they should be able to cheat. Is this true? Please answer honestly....
