It depends. Is the bike in good condition? Has it been dropped?
And is this your first bike? This is not exactly the most forgiving or predictable bike to learn on; usually I'd say a 500 cc or smaller bike makes a better first choice.

That is just about what I paid for mine in October of 2004, although if I were to sell mine now, I would charge about the same. Mine has 11,500 miles now and at the time I bought it, it had 9K mi. Mine also came with lots of extras and was very well taken care of - great shape!! Still is.
However!!! Google "honda CBR 600 f4" and you can read all the write ups on the bike - it has one of the highest ratings overall and they say is one of the easiest and most forgiving bikes to ride.
You would be getting a great machine, but have a professional mech check it out.

No. The bike is seven yrs old. Sportbikes have high revving engines and are usually ridden by young guys who ride them hard.
