I have both, but if I had to choose, I would choose the laptop. If my husband had to choose he would choose the plasma. Although you can't really compare the two. We only paid like 600.00 for the laptop but the plasma cost us 2500.00

definitely a laptop ..u can take it anywhere you want to .. u cant do that with a plasma TV ..

I would go with TV but not plasma.
Plasma can have screen burns. LCD TV is better.
Laptop becomes outdated every two to three years. Five years later, it is embarrassing to carry such old model around. Plus computer generally has much more problems than TV.
TV models last good 5 to 10 years.
