There is a girl at my work that i had a little fling with, we disscused it before we did anything and agreed it was just a bit of fun. Now she's getting all wierd and constantly texting me telling me misses me and wants more. How do i tell her to back off and it was just a bit of fun without falling out with her.

tell her that you've had a nice time with her, but that you'd just like to be friends.

I think she likes me??? Well, you must have liked her if you found yourself in bed together! Something must have been there. You weren't a wall flower.....

There are differences between men & women. Your "little fling" could have been interpreted as deep communion of soul with the other. In making love deep emotional connections are made between partners "beyond fun". Your bit of fun is not understood in the same way with your co worker/friend/lover. There is a deep yearning for the other..... to be safe, beloved, cherished, etc.

You can not easily be "just friends" again. It is possible but most difficult! There is a price to be paid in relationships & you are speaking of the suffering that results from failed love.

Life is difficult........ I hope you can respectfully talk to her & move on. If you are a praying man, this would be a good situation to ask for help. God bless you both!!

Ooooh. This is a tough one. I actually have a guy friend that is in this similar situation...

Problem is...if you didn't want the drama to begin with, you shouldn't have signed up for it. Meaning, you shouldn't have slept with her and all of the above...if you weren't willing to have some kind of drama result.

To be honest, there really is no easy way to tell her. It's sad to say, but really the only way to go about this is to cut her off completly. Being her co-worker is hard and if you have to find another job, so be it. Don't call her, don't answer her calls, don't respond to her txts or send her any.

And above all else...don't sleep with her again!!

Do exactly the same to her best mate in the office lad. That way yer get double the fun and then piss em both off after at the same time. Job done.

I agree with kibbie01 above. It's better for someone to know the truth than live in its imaginary world. If you are sure that it was just for fun, then tell her straight up to her. But if you have any doubt and want to reconsider, then just wait. It's up to you. Good luck.

Just tell her straight up like you said in your question above. I would always rather have the truth than for someone to try & not hurt my feelings. It makes it a heck of a lot easier to get over & is MUCH quicker.

There is no way with people like her. I had the same problem. You have to tell them no and not to contact you anymore. Change your number too. Do not give in or be nice after that. If you do they will take it as you want to see them again. Take my advice from experience. It is the only way. They will stalk you endlessly if you don't
