It seems that most of the vegetarians I have ever met are introverted, lack social skills and shy away from social contact. They usually cling to non-scientific notions such as astrology, palm reading, crystal power and the like. Not coincidentally, they all seem to have had rather horific childhoods.

Hey I am taking a class called Gender & Society. Basically dealing with male and female relationships and roles in the workplace, home, parenting and such. I am having a REALLY hard time deciding what to do a research paper on. I am suppose to pick a subject like "How men and women parent differently" and write a thesis on it. I don't want to just chose what is above because I don't want to do the same exact thing as everyone else. Any ideas?

How would that work when you are usually supposed to preheat your oven and when it turns off, the heat stays in there for quite awhile? And would you really want to leave some meat in there all day until the oven turned on?

I am looking for someone to let me know how could prophet Muhammed make his living after his migrating to Medina. I know that he was a trader before his marriage and then he married a wealthy woman. My question is about after his marriage. Did he continue working after his marriage? and also after his migrating to Medina? Is it true that after his migration he made his living ONLY from the lootings he got during his wars?

Terrorism is derived from terror. Terror means to frighten. All the religions frighten the people from the fire of the hell and then ask the people to follow that religion, if they want to save them from the fire of the hell. Does this not mean that all the religions are terrorism? (Terrorists also frighten the people and then want them to do what they like)

Why do people feel they need to have a signed piece of paper to say that they love one and other?

Then there is the wedding. For the most part the biggest waste of money as in most cases people spend all that time and money for 12 hours of being the center of attention when they could spend the money on starting a life together. ie, a down payment on a house or car...!

Is it just me folks or are there others that believe similar to me. Do not say I will grow into the idea, as I won't! I will never be married and will not have a wedding. I am more than happy to find a life partner and settle in in that fashion.

Curious as I grew up in 60's/70's regularly seeing women in their natural unshaven state + didn't realise women did shave when I was at primary school. At uni it was common (to be unshaven) + many European women didn't seem to shave. Yet in last 15 years or so it seems as though all women, unless they have some near invisible hairs, remove their leg/pit hair. These days inreasing numbers of women also removing arm/pubic hair too. Personally I've never understood the hairless obsession + wonder if there are women who feel similarly + happy to live with their natural fuzz?

I have seen a few answerers on this thread http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AnYqGNsPxgCTGy5Yt3bT5DLsy6IX?qid=20060917094944AAcNWC4 namely chevailier and smileycat, assume that the act of dancing is akin to being like a prostitute. Why do you Muslim people assume that having fun and expressing joy or celebration through dancing is like being a prostitute? This makes no sense, and I really would like to know where you get these notions from. I like to dance, matter of fact, I went out dancing last night with my friends. I accepted no money for sex, and my husband was at home with the kids while I enjoyed a night out. Am I a prostitute now according to Islam? Well, I'm one broke hoe, I didn't get any johns or any cash last night. Just a hangover and sore feet from dancing and drinking with my girls.

Could a well-liked school official (such as a teacher, counselor, or principal) take an unexpected leave from work to enter a drug or alcohol rehab (for approximatly a month) and then reclaim their position????? Would this individual lose their job because of the stigma surrounding their reason for leave??? Would that be grounds for lawful termination???? Does anyone know of such a senerio that has happened in the past???? THANKS!!!!

What would my actual income have to be ? Foget about other debts, assume this was my only payment besides a modest car payment.

And approximately what would my monthly payments be using an average interest rate these days, not including taxes an all that stuff. Just an average.

Thanks!
