How would that work when you are usually supposed to preheat your oven and when it turns off, the heat stays in there for quite awhile? And would you really want to leave some meat in there all day until the oven turned on?

You use frozen meat....it works well for casseroles, or roasts, etc, just prepare and cover and pop in the oven...

You can't use it for baking cakes, etc, but for heating up casseroles to be ready when you get home from work, it does just fine. As far as leaving the meats, if your casserole is frozen when you stick it in the oven in the morning, then it will be thawed and ready for cooking later in the day.
