I have one best friend that I have know since kindergarten (12 years out of school now) and my husband, who I've known for 14 years.

I've known my buddy for 43 years, before he and his wife got married. We competed for opposing high schools in Gymnastics but we used to work out together at the same after school center gym (at night), and everyone used to help one another, competitors and rivals together. It was a very, very friendly atmosphere and we all had the same game plan: to win by being the very best, not by someone else having a bad day. My buddy and I lost track of one another for a few years and we saw one another a few years later and we attended the same college (he was in his late 20s, I was in my early 30s). His wife and children are like my family.

I've known my husband for 35 years, when we were in about the 7th grade. We didn't get romantic till we were out of school. We've been married for 28 years. He's my best friend.
Then, I have a kindergarten friend in existance, but she only writes form letters once a year at Christmas to tell everyone how fantastic their yuppie lives and excelling their children are.
I have several close friends from high school and we still email and write letters regularly.
Which brings us to the most fun friends I have anywhere, and those are you guys here on Yahoo. I've known all of you less than a year.
