I'm observing by reading Yahoo questions that many young people seem to have limited vocabularies and atrocious spelling and grammar skills. They also seem to lack knowledge in many academic areas. Is this just because the better spoken and educated kids don't come to this site? Is it because kids are not being educated as well as they used to be?
When I was in high school and entering college I KNOW that my fellow classmates had better skills then this. Could the educational system really have fallen this far in 30 or 40 years?

a lot of us cannot believe that God exists because we think there is no proof of it. while i think that part of having faith is just that: faith, i humbly submit a few ideas that may be looked at as proof:

1)the books of the old testement were written by many authors over thousands of years, and were in circulation by the nation of israel for all of that time. it would have been awfully hard to forge them.

2)the books of the prophesy in the old testement foretold who the messiah would be, and Jesus met those criteria (that He would be called a nazarene, etc.)

3)while some may question his deity, that Jesus did exist is not reasonably questioned by historians, any more than that socrates existed.

for sake of argument, lets take the Bible at face value: as what appears to be a book written by men. examining it from a purely fact-based agenda, it may not be possible to affirm everything said in it. for example, genesis reads like oral tradition. it is the book with the (more)

things dads should never do to their daughters? If so how did you handle this? What if your mom may be already aware of it and did nothing to prevent it? Or could it have been very bad nightmares going on? Is it at all possible to have nightmares like this and to think its all real? in my 6thgrade school, there is this friend i made called ryan. he is a good friend, but not the type that'll say "u have something on your face". later in sixth grade, i made a friend called fernando. he's not a true friend, but he has a soft spot and he'll stick up for u and protect u and stuff. Plus i can relate to him because we both like doing the same stuff. SO in th grade, i made a friend called michael, and he was a true friend, but fernando was my best friend in 7th grade and i often ignored michael. i never saw ryan that year. so now in 8th grade, fernando moved away, and i have to spend more time with michael. but this time, him AND ryan are both in my gym class. when the teacher tells us to pick teams, i always go with ryan,
1. he's athletic 2. he's funny 3. he was my first middle school friend
but then michael is a true friend and he always follows me when i go with ryan btw, did i mention michael is not that attractive? what i'm asking of y'all is some advice

The only results I can imagine from a more open and accepting attitude about these things would be greater sexual safety and greater boredom with sex (you can only get so much of anything). The minute you make something bad and mysterious, you make it that much more desireable.
