Maybe we like to keep it "forbidden" in order to keep it exciting.

Nudity and sex are not the same.Having been a nudist for 40+ years plus the fact that the last 23 I have been married and have 2 children. We go to the club every other weekend and there is a fellowship we enjoy with other members. At home there is a relaxed atmosphire about nudity.
The powers that be tell us what to do and like lemmings to the sea we follow. They say you can not go nude well we don't.We follow because we are told to.

Again it looks like I am the first American to respond. We were just raised that way. It has been a hard journey to gain freedom from the messages received as a child.
The messages are changing though. My daughters generation, she's 13, seem to be much freer (almost to the extreme) due to music videos it seems that so many young girls want to be strippers and pole dancers....but at least they're not ashamed of the bodies the way my generation was raised.

I'm not sure we are prudes... i believe you are right we like the covert kicks.
if it's nasty, we like it but keep it to ourselves....it's a shame really.
it is my opinion that we all would be a bit better off if we were brought up allowed to express ourselves with ease (appropriately of course)regarding our sexuality
....but, the good old white boys have made sure that (1.) money is almighty and (2.) only be freaky with those you don't care about and keep it quiet.
the wife at home is for straight *******. and find a whore is the motto!
mine is be a lady in company and a whore in bed. (I'm in a committed relationship and it works for us.)
anyway, it is too bad for all that we can't more freely discuss these things. education equals freedom!!!!

Hi !
European countries were 'less prudish'. For example in there countries, top less on the beaches had existed for more than 30 years.
And that did not disturb anybody .
That disappears today, because we live one more restrictive era because of ideas come from past which are diffused in the world.
Americans are prudish ?
Not more than the other developed countries… finally I believe it.
Cheers, Mr West

I agree with your analysis 100%. If nudity were more widely accepted, pornographers would soon lose business, people would become less concerned about the Hollywood image of the "perfect" body, and people overall would have much more fun!

Nude is the desert. You have to have the other stuff first. If you have desert before dinner the dinner is spoiled. Dinner is what you live on and if its spoiled you will die of hunger.
