My buddy claims that she heard this in a work environment comprised of a lot of ex-military/navy workers. Her usage of it was in the sentence, "I failed open today at 5:30am," meaning that she woke up at that time. Has anyone heard of this phrase?

I've known this guy for over 4 years and he keeps feeling me feel like I'm useless, but I just keep coming back to him. I don't know why I do, but something about him makes me keep coming back. I don't know what to do. I want to be with him, but he is a horrible person. He is cheating on a girlfriend. He told me that he really liked me and tonight I saw him holding hands with another girl and he said it was just "flirting". Does anybody know or know where to look to find out why a person's toenails might fall off? It's the wierdest thing! They don't hurt, they just came off when I went to cut them. Three have came off so far. I can't find any info about it. Any ideas?? I know this is crazy, but try to be serious, okay? :)

Anyone wonder why there's not a site on here for atheists? Before you lay into this, just realize: I have my own beliefs and I swear I respect yours. However, it seems like many invoke your beliefs in the name of bashing religion and it seems upsetting. Will a real atheist respond, not someone claiming God is a frace so I can hear what is really to be said?

A man is in bed with his wife when they hear a rat-a-tat-tat on the door. He rolls over and looks at his clock, and it's half past three in the morning. "I'm not getting out of bed at this time", he thinks, and rolls over. Then a louder knock follows.

"Aren't you going to answer that?" asks his wife. So he drags himself out of bed and goes downstairs. He opens the door to see a man standing there. It doesn't take him long to realise the man is drunk.

"Hi there", slurs the stranger. "Can you give me a push?" "No, get lost. It's half past three. I was in bed," says the man and slams the door.

He goes back up to bed and tells his wife what happened. "Dave, that wasn't very nice of you. Remember that night we broke down in the pouring rain on the way to collect the kids from the baby sitter and you had to knock on that man's door? What would have happened if he'd told us to get lost?"

"But the guy was drunk," says the husband. "It doesn't matter," says the wife. "Go downstairs and help him."

So the husband gets dressed and goes down to help him. He opens the door, and not being able to see the stranger anywhere he shouts,"Hey, do you still want a push?"

He hears a voice cry out, "Yeah, please."

Still being unable to see the stranger he shouts, "Where are you?"

And the stranger replies," Over here on your swing"

I bet just about everyone said yes..i guess i would too if the marriage was in a rut..hehe..THEN WHY DO PPL GET MARRIED? Are all married men bored of their wives? I know of (about 8) married couples that had divorces because their spouse was cheating/cheated. And it was the male 95% of the time. Why do people still get married? Sounds pessimistic but its reality. I am 23 and have had more than 2 offers from married men at my work place..Well they didnt directly asked for sex but what else could a married man want if they ask another girl out? Any married men/women that would have a one night stand knowin' your partner would never find out?
