if you really must drink knowing you have to go to work the next day, before you go to bed have a large drink of water and take some paracetamol or alka seltzer. do the same when you get up as long as you have left a min of 4 hours before taking any more medication.
the reason you get a hang over is due to dehydration. you really need to drink lots of water throughout the day , honestly it does help. the other thing is you need to eat ,as a result of drinking the night before it can lower the blood sugars and this will make you feel sick headachey and tired. good luck and enjoy yourself.

Cos if u dont go to work u wont be able to afford to go out and get drunk again!!
Have some water, some toast and pick the easiest bits of work to focus on this morning!!
failing that some extra stong Resolve in a pint of water will do the trick!!

You don't have to go into work...there isn't any law to that effect. Just call your boss, tell him/her you got hammered, have a hangover and don't want to come to work. He'll probably say sure....don't bother coming in aver again.
oh, and if you get the sick note...make sure the bartender signs it for you.

Drink plenty of water to rehydrate yourself, take some paracetemol and get to work. Next time take it easy with the drink and remember your responsibilities.
