I've been married 10 years. It's been up and down for the last 8 because he cheated on me twice, once when I was pregnant and another a few years later. Anyway lately we seem to be on a downward spiral, and he has a double personality (one minute he's friendly and normal, the next he can be nasty and agressive). And when I say I want to talk about our problems he won't, he clams up and says that he can't be bothered with it anymore. I don't know whether our marriage can be saved. We have debts in my name that I wouldn't be able to afford on my own, we rent our property and again I wouldn't be able to afford the cost of living alone (the south of the UK is extremely expensive). I don't want to move away because it would upset my 2 young children as one has started a new school and I need to be close to my elderly parents. I'm scared of being a single mum. He wouldn't go to counselling either, he's too stubborn. Any advice from people going or have gone through the same please?

I have a prototype device that is feeding data into the serial port of my laptop. That is where the scope of my design ends, however I need to display the data recieved on a graph (x = time, y = hex value) to show I have suceeded. I have a program that will at least rip the data from the port and save it to file, but no display. Does anyone know of such a free program, or free to try that will allow me to do this rather than writing a Matlab or LabVIEW tool to display the data? I am looking at plotting 500K samples so a scolling window would be preffered.

I need to set up a table-like thing outside for Halloween decoration. It rains here a lot, so cardboard wouldn't work.

Ideally, the box would be a little above waist-high on its longest side, and have right angles (not weird curves like a plastic storage bin). Stuff would sit on top, with maybe some cloth draped artistically down the sides.

A wooden shipping crate would be perfect, except that it turns out they're nearly $100! I'm trying to NOT spend a lot of money, here....
I could alter something else to be a box, if I could just figure out what to alter.

Help?

Any ideas?
