my boy friend has a 6 cyl 5 spd 1993 ford ranger and his gas gage dose not work so we dont know exacly how far he can go b4 he is on E we thought 250 would be a safe place but if any one can help plz let me know

My 95 4.0 v6 5 speed has a 20 gallon tank and I can go 400 miles on a tank.

Well, there are 2 tank sizes...If you have the regular cab ranger, then its the 16.3 gal tank...If its the extended cab, is the 20 gal tank. Also the city/highway mileage is approximately 18/24 miles per gal. Hope this is helpful. Good luck.
