Canada is a place just like yours, its not that much safer as you assume, actually, it can be alot more dangerous! We are a society that is a multicultual peice of art, not a melting pot. The winters are not harsh here, they are justlike the winters in New york or Ohio. Not everyone loves or plays hockey, but those who play are great because we grow up playing it from as soon as we can skate, not because we have nothing to do. Theres alot of stuff to do, there are alot of clubs, amusement parks and shopping malls here. We dont live in igloos, were civalized and we have houses, looking exactly the same as the yours. Dont be ignorant when you meet a Canadian please.. they have the same lifestyle as you, ask them all you want about it, there bound to be friendly. thanks

I am 16 and this girl is 13. We have hung out before and she is bad news. She drinks, smokes and sneaks out all the time. She seems way older than she actually is. She just isn't the type of person that I would hang out with. The problem is, she IM's me everyday and asks me to hang out! I keep saying that I can't, but she can't take a hint! It's like she's begging me to hang out with her...please give me some advice...IM GOING CRAZY!!!

And she has two best friends and can't decide on one as her main Bridesmaid.. They're a circle of best friends who love each other equally, and I could only imagine the pressure she is under to choose her Bridesmaid. Should she choose one exclusively, or make them both the Bridesmaid?

I think there are several reasons. I know there are several possible answers to this question. I think most will revolve around: (1) religion, (2) that public schools do not do a good job of teaching; (3) that parents are scared of the influence of other students; (4) that parents are trying to protect their kids from anything negative (ie: overprotecting their kids). I taught public school for 30 years, and am a strong proponent of public education. I know many pro's and con's of public schools, but I think many parents are perhaps misinformed or misguided or led by media reports to think that public schools are somehow very bad. I think they are very good, and offer many opportunities not available to the homeschooled kids. I do not care if you agree or disagree, I just would like to hear some truthful reasons from home-schooling parents. Others may also join in. I will make no judgement of you, I just want to know the answer to this question.

it had this guy and some other people who went around disproving paranormal things. And in one episode a bunch of people for no reason went to Alaska, dressed up in purple sequin disco suits and bungee jumped off a bridge. Because it turned out that they had all received organs or blood transplants from a boy who died in a motorcycle accident. And he was going to bungee jump off that bridge on the next day. The guy in the show also investigated the "haunted" railroad tracks. The show was fiction, and it was a lot like Miracles, but it's not, because the bungee jumping thing didn't happen in Miracles. The show came out in around 2001-2002, and it only lasted 1 season as far as i know. Also, the people that bungee jumped sang "Midnight Train to Georgia" right before they jumped. Not knowing the name of this show is driving me crazy, i actually think that it aired the same time as Miracles because i always confuse the two.

I bought a magnetic braclet, it says it will help with joint pain, sleeping, and other problems one may have. Has anyone found the bracelts to work?

Why is using all capital letters when writing on a computer considered rude? Someone says it means you are shouting at the receiver. I say is someone's mind so small that they feel someone is shouting when they receive a letter with all caps. Do they ever think about those of us that use the hunt and peck sysyem and have arthritis that causes pain by putting in caps.If I am yelling at someone they should be able to tell by the wording I use
