Getting back to basics in nutrition is a difficult thing to do. Everywhere you look people will tell you that you should be eating this way or that way. I suggest reading and researching as many lifestyle diets as you can. Mercola and the Makers Diet are both good ones, out of hundreds.
Keep looking until something clicks with you and you can agree to what they are telling you. That way it is a personal choice with personal reasons.
Meds and natural remedies are supposed to help the human body heal itself. Well, with proper nutrition, the human body can take care of itself without all of that junk.
Best of luck. It is a lifestyle switch, dont expect to do it all at once...its a health journey.
