What have been your experiences with community radio stations, RSL broadcasters, hospital radio or even student radio? No responses from USA please!! I'm interested in UK or even other countries, but just not the United States of America.

I ate lots of meet yesterday and my nose bled at night. I know it's caused by rupture of nose blood vessels but does it have to do with meat at all?? Or cold maybe???

A great many people believe in astrology, psychics, ESP, faith healing, ancient prophecy, and a hundred other fantastic and ridiculous notions.

Some are just having fun and hadn't really thought about it. Others are presented with scientific evidence to the contrary, or asked to think more critically about their beliefs, and they can't be bothered (or think they already do).

This last group is scary. They offer no evidence (because there is none) yet they steadfastly believe, for whatever reason. They demonstrate such gullibility that they're clearly susceptible to being pawns in the spread of dangerous misinformation of all kinds. Another Dark Ages may be in our future.

Why don't they put their mouths where the $$$ is?!

Could it be--just maybe--that they can't? I mean if anything talks as loud as BS, it's money!

My daughter is 7 and just entered the 2nd grade. She knows her alphabet and can write the alphabet. She often writes some letters backwards still, and her penmenship is really messy. At what point/age/grade should she be forming and writing neatly with less mistakes and messy in her writing?

This is in no way having a go at anyone at all. I am just curious why we do this in Australia when we can create our own crude oil? Its baffled me for a long time. Also petrol?
Forgive me for my ignorance, I just dont know!!
Reason I put it in this category is that I coudnt think which one would be more suitable & that the price of petrol is so high now.

A friend of mine 10 years younger is in late teens and having typical trouble with the opposite sex.
