A friend of mine 10 years younger is in late teens and having typical trouble with the opposite sex. We all know that when we are that age everything seems like it could only get worse but how do you explain to a teen that it isn't really the case in fact the opposite. This person was told they were ' too nice' do you believe?

take her out with a group of your closest friends and just have a night in or something that way she'll have people she loves around her and she can talk to you. talking is almost always the best thing to do when you dont know what else to do coz that way she can get rid off all her pent up emotions.

plus she'll end up appreciating the fact that her friend are there for her when she needed help..

goodluck you seem like a really caring friend

I had the same response as a teenager. My boyfriend at the time said that I was "too nice" he wanted a girl that wasn't quite so innocent. I know it seems like the world is over at that age, but only time and a good friend can help this teen. Sounds to me like your already on the right road, with a shoulder to cry on and let them know time and again, that their life isn't over, it's only going to get better. Your a good friend. Thats one lucky teen!
