Hey no need to worry, there's just lots of you who wanna find each other... You go to the messenger tab and select "Yahoo Chat", then choose "Join a Room", it will direct you to a page. You choose what aspect/s interests you or any location you want, or by language if you want. You click any that applies and "Enter Chat"...It really is very easy to find someone to chat with...Go ahead and goodluck.

The best way to start making a messenger netowrk of friends to join a chat room. Be careful who you give your addy to, but thats the best way other than friends or family to add people. :)

try to type keywords on the Search bar such as chats,chatrooms,chatmates....or anything that will .have to do with chatting. It will open up a lot & tons of all chat things sites. Just click anything u like there.
