protons, neutrons, and electrons. working together like perfect clockwork. an input then a processor and then an output with some form of memory to hold the information is basicaly all a computer is so... the proton being the input the neutron being the processor and the electron would be the output. The memory would be stored in electromagnetic fields. Is any of this making any sense?

I know I kinda asked this before but I'm still really confused and not sure what to do. I am 39 weeks pregnant tomarrow and I went to my doctors appointment this morning and I have been having irregular contractions for 2 weeks now but when she did the vaginal exam she said that I am STILL at 1 centimeter and the baby hasn't dropped very much. I had a c-section with my 1st child and my doctor told me that if I haven't gone into labor by 41 weeks then they have to scheduale another c-section for 41 and a half weeks. I wanted to try a VBAC with this baby soooo bad. Having a baby normally (no surgery) has alway been my dream. I know I sound crazy but I just want to experience that. I believe it makes the bond stronger. My doctor told me to walk 20-30 minutes a day but this is not working and raspberry leaf tea wont work! So what do I do??? She's never comming out! :-) I know she has to but it feels like she never will! Thanks for all the help.

I believe God and Science are intertwined. My belief is: from an atoms you get molecules, from molecules you get compounds, from compounds you get cells, from cells you get tissues, from tissues you get organs, from organs you get systems, etc. Basically all the afformentioned elements are independent and dependent of each other. I feel that ultimately the universe is the same from the smallest spec of dust to the largest cluster of galaxies. I feel that we are all part of one humungous entity that is alive and in control. That is my concept of God. I don't necissarily feel that this conflicts with any religion because I feel that religion is an easy way of explaining something complex and there is no wrong way to explain something metaphorically.

Why do some people like to have fun to no logical end? It seems to me that a great number of people like to have fun without a productive goal in mind. This, by its self, is understandable, however often people enjoy having fun when it is harmful to themselves and others. For instance, many people enjoy drinking excessive amounts of alcohol. There is no logical reason to do this, it has not benefit to one's self. Also, many people engage in sexual relations purely for enjoyment. This is also quite illogical. One should not act without being aware of the consequences, and since none of the possible consequences are desirable, it makes no sense to engage in such activities solely for the purpose of pleasure. Can somebody please explain this illogical human tendency to engage in "fun" activities that have no possible beneficial outcomes?
